NEW NOTE - POPULATION DIVIDED INTO
CIVILIAN and
MILITARYNEW NOTE 2 - RESOURCES are divided into Normal (food/metal) and Specialty (uranium/oil/coal)
Resources and MoneyResources and money are the basics of the game. You need them to build armies, make better technology and overall
just be a more powerful and dominant player. Obviously, for a game like this too work, the resource/money system needs
to work by a creation vs destruction sequence. Since destruction is pretty much covered (i.e. with spending on things like
technology and army building), A part of this post will explain how the creation of the resources/money works.
Resource MinesToo gain resources you must fist make the post of declaring the building of a mine and then make a post as to gather the resource
output from the mine. (by mine i mean all resource places...

). All countries may produce food and metal, but only specialty countries (as shown in a post) may produce uranium, oil and coal. As well as this, you may only have certain numbers of the specialty
resource mines (again, as shown in the same other post) and also a maximum of 5 each output places for food and metal.
The more countries/specialty resource countries you have, the more resource mines you can have thus meaning greater resource output.
You may get your resources from output points as many times as you want per day by making a seperate post for each collection.
Now, how much does a resource mine cost?
Food:
1st output point - $US 10,000,000
2nd output point - $US 20,000,000
3rd output point - $US 40,000,000
4th output point - $US 70,000,000
5th output point - SUS 100,000,000
Metal:
1st output point - $US 20,000,000
2nd output point - $US 40,000,000
3rd output point - $US 70,000,000
4th output point - $US 100,000,000
5th output point - SUS 150,000,000
Coal:
1st output point - $US 40,000,000
2nd output point - $US 80,000,000
3rd output point - $US 120,000,000
Oil:
1st output point - $US 50,000,000
2nd output point - $US 100,000,000
3rd output point - $US 150,000,000
Uranium:
1st output point - $US 100,000,000
2nd output point - $US 250,000,000
3rd output point - $US 500,000,000
So, How does the resource gather rate work?
You can gather all resources at the same time. The formula for the amount of resource output of your nation is:
Amount of normal resources in units (for one resource) = CIVILIAN population X Total number of Resource output points...
e.g. Food gained (in units) = 10 million X 2 outputs = 20 million Units of Food
Amount of specialty resources in units (for one resource) = 1/4 CIVILIAN pop. X 1/4 of Total number of Resource output points...
e.g. Uranium gained (in units) = 10 million X 1/4 X 2 outputs X 1/4 = 1.25 million Units of Uranium
Get teh idea?
Money and Taxes
Now that you know how to get resources, you are probably wondering - how does money fit into the creation\destruction sequence.
Well - what better way to get money than through taxes. Much in the same way as resource you make a post declaring the tzxation
of your empire. Again, you may do this as many times as you like per day. The Taxtion System is as follows:
3rd world Tax Revenue ($US) = 1 x population
2nd world Tax Revenue ($US) = 10 x population
Super Power Tax Revenue ($US) = 100 x population
Universal Empire Tax Revenue ($US) = 1000 x population
Its as simple as that!

Population
So, you are probably wondering how to add to your nation default total of 10 million. Well, all you need to do is make a post declaring you are adding population - remember - every new citizen costs 10 food immediately + further upkeep payments
The post should look something like this:
Adding 1 million people to population for 10 million food...
Upkeep
Finally you will know about this crazy thing called upkeep, well, each day I will automatically deduct your upkeep of food, oil and coal (until you become resource efficient in one or all of them). This is equal to ten times your population...
Now, what happens if you can't pay for the upkeep/don't have the resources... well... 50% of your population will die (unless
you have informed me prior and I have made an exception...)
And that is how it works!
